You know you are 100% right! But let me ask you this... let's assume we win this trophy and even make it to the next World Cup..is it with this type of EPFKIN style of play that we are going to the World Cup with?@kadimus a écrit :Honestly I don't understand Congolese people anymore. We are the most demanding set of supporters since the creation of football. People are quick to criticize Florent and call him every name in their vocabulary that is synonymous to incompetence.
Yes we played super badly against Maroc. Yes they had 25 players out etc etc. Bref...what do we want?
Personally I want 3 points...3 points and 3 points. I've been an avid football fan for the last 25 yrs and I've learned that at the end of the day, only points (victories) counts...and at the moment stats are showing that we have 3 points and are leading the group. So once again, what more do we want? I hear people saying that we need to "dominate" games, "Ibenge is clueless" etc etc. This is CAN 2015 all over again.
When we win...it's thanks to individual players...and not the coach (a la Kabananga...even though people like FaceofAfrica dissed him prior to the match, but then got a golden duck...like they say in Cricket). When we lose or play badly, we are quick to blame the coach.
We all have our favourite players and tactics that we swear by and we all want to see the leopards play "our" way. I would love to see Mpoku, Maghoma and Kebano play together...I've always liked Nicaise...since he was 18...so I would love for him to be our number 1, I would love to see Chancel play as a center back, I'll give anything to have Mbokani and Bakambu play up front together, I would love to never see Issama in the team again....but what I love most is WINNING and 3 POINTS. If you look at our last 5 official games....what do you see? I see 5 victories and 3 of those victories came away from home. So my question to you guys again is "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" we want to play "joga bonito", but history has proven that "joga bonito" doesn't always win you games.
Greece played horrible in 2004...but history will remember them as champions and archives will shows a young Cristiano Ronaldo crying at the final whistle.
Bayern Munich played well and dominated Manchester United at the Nou Camp in the Champions league final 1998...but history will remember Teddy Sherignham and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer scoring 2 goals in the 90th minute. Archives will show Samuel Kuffour crying like a baby on television.
Portugal played super badly during Euro 2016, but history will remember them as champions.
Cape Verde imposed their "style" on teams at CAN 2015...the result was that they went home in the group stages.
Claude Leroy had a "vision" "game-play" etc etc....what does history tell us about his tenure as our coach?
So I ask again, what do we want? do you want to win the possession and passing game? or do we want the 3 points?
Honestly some people in here just want to criticize for the fact of criticizing...move on it's a bit sad and actually!
History also showed us Saudi Arabia was one of the biggest team in their Asian cup in the late 90's...how did they perform in 98 and 2002? Thats my fear with this team!!! A bisrepetita of 74! With this type of football we playing we'll only be good for the continent...Friendly games with our fellow africans! In the past 2yrs and smth, we have not improved! We keep turning in circle. By now it shouldn't be a problem for us to book a game with European,Asian,Latino National teams...but yet we keep playing Cameroun

But you do point out some good issues with us congolese and I hope I answered just a lil "What else do I(me) want"
