Goldleaf a écrit : I agree that african football has had its soul ripped out by the europeanisation of our players and team pattern. Surely african football used to be inventive, creative, innovative, fast, exciting and unpredictable but what we are seeing is its death and replacement by a predictable passing accompanied with no movement at all. Most of the african teams' matches have reminded me of those mind-numbing La Liga matches featuring Getafe/Zaragoza and Almeria/Xerex where you would do anything even stick your head in an oven or pull your eyes out than watch them.
These performances have been so shameful. Cameroon stuck to the same useless pattern from minute 1 to minute 93 which was passing to feet with no attempt from the forward players to lose their markers and have crossfield passes over the back 4 for them to connect. There was no dribbling at all. If Africa does not develop its domestic leagues but rather continue to bank on these brain-dead mercenaries from Europe, african football will die. Period!
